Our Story
Merry & Joyous Store was founded in early 2020 in Singapore. A graduate from University of London, inquisitive ever to explore new avenues, teamed up with his sibling and father, Chartered Accountant, to embark on this exciting journey. An avid believer of family togetherness, strongly believes that the respect for the values, accomplishments and sound legacy are the foundation of the family that propel prosperity and empower the vision.
After spending short stints at various operations, including wealth management bank, driven by sense of passion to create a difference in the niche category of family and home, an idea was born to form a new venture and affordably provide for the needs of all in home and family, thus adding value to all.
Over the next few weeks the venture stayed in our minds and arising out of the global pandemic situation, forcing the people to stay at home and families to stay united, a rare moment of clarity dawned on us that we should also add value by offering the affordable online solutions to all in the family and not one. Where else can you comfortably shop at midnight while in your pyjamas ? Sending gifts to friends and relatives is also so easy, no matter where you are.
Inspired by the urge to provide for convenience and costs savings to all in family, the idea finally came to fruition.
